Mommy's Little Shadow

So, now that Evan has learned to crawl and pull himself up on things, he follows me everywhere! Yesterday while I was drying my hair he followed me into the bathroom, even though I left sufficient toys in the hall outside the bathroom for him. Luckily it's clean in there!

Then later, after a fun afternoon at Grandma's house (while I taught piano lessons), it was time to make dinner. Since we don't have a baby gate yet and he insists on following me into the kitchen, I made a little barricade, or a "fort" as Adam calls it. Evan is so smart. He almost figured out how to crawl through the legs of the chair, but stopped himselft when he felt like he was getting "stuck."



Then when I went to a church activity, Adam and Evan played some more, and Evan discovered that with the right equipment (i.e. a spoon), anything can become a drum! What a fun day!
