Evan had his first movie night a couple of weeks ago! I made homemade popcorn on the stove and we watched Stargate Atlantis. Now that he's 9 months old, he can have corn so we sat him on the couch with us and fed him some popcorn. To say he loved it would be an understatement!
He could not get enough of it! We sat the bowl by him and he lunged for it.
He grabbed as much as his little hands could hold and then he tried to shove all of it in his mouth! (We weren't fast enough to get a picture of that.) Funny, that's how I used to eat popcorn when I was a kid!

Ever since I can remember, I have loved popcorn! Some of my earliest childhood memories are of eating popcorn and watching "The Incredible Hulk" and "The Dukes of Hazard" with my Granny and Granddaddy at their house. I couldn't have been more than 2 or 3 years old, but I still remember it. I have loved popcorn ever since!
Granny always made the best popcorn! She always made it fresh and homemade on the stove top (that was before microwaves were invented) and she made sure to make it nice and buttery! I still make it that way to this day! And now the tradition and love of popcorn has officially been passed on to Evan!
