Just Like Daddy and other stuff

Evan is becoming such a Daddy's little man! He LOVES his Daddy! Whenever Adam walks into a room or he sees him coming up the walkway when he gets home from work, Evan shouts "Da-Da!" He wants to do everything that Daddy does, whether it's wearing his shoes or playing video games with him. He loves his Daddy's ties, as you can see in the pictures below! It's so fun to watch him love and admire his Dad, and to see how much Adam loves him too! What great men I have in my life! :-)

Evan has also started walking full-time! He's still a bit wobbly, but what baby isn't?? He walks as often as he can, and sometimes he even runs! I haven't managed to get a video of it with my camera yet, but I will as soon as he will let me! His birthday is FRIDAY, and I am in so much shock at how quicly the year went by! He learns things so quickly, you only have to show him once. He has also figured a lot of things out on his own. We painted our bedroom two weekends ago, and he was sitting on the boxsprings of our bed playing with something (trying to keep him occupied so he wouldn't get into the paint!), and when he was tired of sitting there he figured out how to get himself down off the bed! He has learned how to go down the stairs, but I think it scares him b/c he will only do it if I really coax him. Boy, he sure can fly up them though! He has noticed, however, that Daddy and I walk up the stairs on our feet and not on our knees, so if he can get me to hold his hands going up the stairs, he takes huge steps and walks up instead of crawling! It's so cute!!

Long story short (;-)), he is growing so big so fast! We're looking forward to his three birthday parties this weekend (what a lucky guy!), and I will post pictures from it as soon as I can! In the meantime, enjoy these last couple cute pics!
