We Are A Happy Family!

Ok. We have sort of I guess started potty trainig Evan! It wasn't a conscious, "we're doing this today" kind of thing, it just sort of happened. The last couple nights at bedtime, Adam would ask Evan if he wanted to peepee in the potty, to which of course Evan said "sure." And he actually did! He peed right in the potty. So, of course, we did the peepee dance. He loved doing the dance! So today when he got up, I decided not to put a new diaper on him. He has been running around all day like this:


I have been asking him every so often if he has any peepee that needs to come out. Sometimes he says no, but usually he says yes, so we go sit down, and he has gone every time! He has gone 3 or 4 times today! He wore a diaper for nap of course, and it took some coaxing to get him to take it off after, but he is doing great! He has not had any accidents, and he's so proud of himself! So far I have been asking him everytime if he has to go, he has not volunteered the informatin yet, but I'm sure that will come soon! He can even wash his hands by himself! He's growing so fast, and he's so smart, it's hard to believe he's only 2 1/2! He's an awesome little guy, and we sure are proud of him!
