Momentary rambling
Ok, I just have to make a commentary post and ramble for a moment. I can not believe how fast time goes by. We're all getting old, and our kids are getting so big! (Just the fact that I can say "OUR kids are getting big" makes me feel old!) Evan is learning so fast! He can pretty much feed himslef with a spoon without making TOO much of a mess; he can stand up on his own for increasingly long periods of time; he loves to walk holding onto our hands, so it won't be long before he's walking for real; he says "hi" all the time and he says "hey Da-da" when Adam enters the room. He has an amazing memory. We only have to show him something once or twice and he remembers how to do it. He loves putting things into containers. He will stuff everything he can get his hands on into one box or container, then take it all out, then put it all back in. Last night he was so funny. We were playing with his blocks, and Adam would stack some up, then Evan would knock them down - quite forcefully - and then laugh his head off. It was so funny! He gets a little aggressive sometimes (Evan, not Adam), we're going to have to really watch him when he interacts with other children. I need to get him into a play-group or something. Anyway, it's just so neat to watch him grow. I know these are all normal things that babies do as they grow, it's just so neat to see it first-hand. He understands so much, and he learns so fast! We're so blessed to have such a cute little fella in our family!
