Christian update!

Now for an update on our little Christian.  Well, he's not so little anymore!  He is growing like a weed.  Since we finally started getting him fattened up, we can't stop him now!  He eats like crazy, runs around (literally), plays hard, is into EVERYthing, and loves playing with his family.  Though he really hasn't started talking yet, it doesn't really seem to matter.  He communicates just fine without it!  We are working on different signs, and he's great at imitating.  Here's an example: he saw Adam vacuuming up Christmas tree needles the other day, so here's what he did:

He knows what to do with a toothbrush, a hairbrush, socks and shoes, his brother's toys, a cd player, an iPod, the TV remote...everything!  He sees us doing something one time and he tries to imitate.  He even pulled my hair straightener off the counter this morning (it was unplugged and cold!) and put it on his head like he was trying to straighten his hair.  He is of course very good at taking things out of...well, anything, but has now also mastered putting things bak in.  He has even learned what "put away" means, so he "helps" me put away the tupperward, toys, pot holders and movies that he continually pulls out of cabinets and drawers.  He knows the words "let's eat" and "snack," because when we say those phrases he makes a dash for his high chair.  He's also very good at going up stairs, and again, when I say, "Let's go upstairs," I have to be ready because he drops what he's doing and heads for the stairs.  There are so many things that I could list here that he does that are so cute, but maybe I'll just post some pics instead and start posting more often!!  Enjoy!
